Sales Engineer-Machine Learning AI base cybersecurity vendor

Our client, a pioneering cybersecurity startup applying Deep Learning, seeks an experienced Sales Engineer in Tokyo. The company has gained industry recognition for its unique software protecting Fortune 500 users against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Field Sales to pursue new business opportunities, supporting all phases of the sales process.
  • Evangelize and demonstrate products via presentations, demos, and hands-on software sessions.
  • Provide 1st-level technical support during the sales cycle and respond to customer RFPs/RFIs.
  • Drive the Evaluation/POC process, defining goals, assessing customer requirements, and assisting with initial configurations.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to provide input on product features.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in cybersecurity, with endpoint defense experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of enterprise Sales Engineering experience targeting the F1000.
  • Experience with Win, MacOS, and mobile operating systems.
  • Demonstrated objection handling and competitive positioning skills.
  • Effective communication for both small and large audiences.
  • Hands-on software demonstration experience.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, willing to travel up to 50% in the region.
  • BS/BA or equivalent security experience.
