About the position

Senior Advisor role involves responsibilities related to managing and driving sales efforts within the financial services sector, particularly in the buyside financial institutions including private equity, venture capital and other funds. Here are some key aspects of such a role: 

Responsibilities 

Sales Management: Overseeing the sales process, including identifying potential clients, managing relationships with existing clients, and ensuring the sales targets are met. 

Client Relations: Developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and family offices, and understanding their investment needs. 

Fundraising: Assisting in fundraising activities for private equity, including managing investor communications and coordinating roadshows and investor meetings. 

Team Leadership: Providing guidance and support to junior sales associates, ensuring they are well-prepared and effective in their roles. 

Qualifications 

Minimum 8 years of experience in fundraising or sales experience to the buyside financial institutions; 

Client network in the buyside is an advantage 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, along with the ability to manage client relationships and perform sales presentations. 

A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is usually required. 

Native level Japanese and fluent in English
