Job Description
The company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Merchant Acquisition to spearhead the expansion of their merchant acquisition team in Japan. This role is integral to the company’s growth strategy and involves not only leading a new team but also actively engaging in sales initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the team’s sales goals, providing leadership and personal development for a team of regional sales managers, city managers, and sales representatives, and exceeding sales targets. The role requires a deep understanding of regional and local market dynamics and a collaborative approach with country leadership and various stakeholders.

  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Japanese merchant ecosystem.
