Key Responsibilities

• Lead research, development, and implementation of cutting-edge robotics technologies as a special mission project directly under the President
• Design and execute realistic physical and robot simulations
• Validate, apply, and implement the latest robot AI models (Imitation Learning, Reinforcement Learning, VLA, etc.)
• Report on the latest robotics technologies and industry trends directly to senior leadership
• Drive technical discussions and project execution with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Required:

• Experience as a robotics software architect
• Extensive hands-on experience in robot simulation
• Proven experience implementing robot AI (Imitation Learning, Reinforcement Learning algorithms, etc.)
• Advanced programming skills in Python and/or C++
• Experience with ROS 2
• Japanese: Business level (advanced) / English: Ability to read and write technical documentation

Preferred:

• Research achievements such as first-author publications at top international conferences (IROS, ICRA, SIMPAR, CoRL, RSS, etc.)
• Cross-functional experience spanning from robot research through to productization
• Deep understanding and applied experience in robot kinematics and dynamics
• Experience implementing SLAM, motion planning, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in digital twin development
• 3D modeling experience
