Satoshi is one of the co-founders of XG Partners, the global executive search firm in Japan whose ultimate goal is to be the world’s best by pursuing the true value of recruitment services. He is passionate about helping clients achieve their desired goals in successful talent acquisition and career development, and strives to connect people without being bound by the conventions of the industry. He graduated from CoachU, a US educational institution, and obtained an ACC from the International Coach Federation (ICF). He also holds a CoachU-certified coaching training instructor qualification and aspires to be a partner who supports executives and leaders in achieving their business goals.

Hatsushi (Ted)Tetsuya

Founder & CEO of XG Partners Group, Hatsushi began his career as a head-hunter in 2005 and has over 18 years of experience in providing Executive Search services. He previously helped to establish the Hong Kong office of JAC Recruitment, a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and led a team of thirty members there between 2012 and 2018.

He is Japan’s NO. 1 head-hunter, generating an annual individual revenue of 200-300 million JPY. After achieving top performer for 3 consecutive years (2020-2022) in RGF, one of the top recruitment firms in Japan, at the age of 40 he set out to realize the dream he had held since his time in Hong Kong: to establish a Japan-based Global Executive Search Firm. To achieve this goal he founded his own company, XG Partners, and initiated operations at the Marunouchi headquarters in Tokyo. The company has seen great success, opening a second office in Hong Kong and with another planned to open in Singapore.

Background

With a client portfolio comprising over 95% multinational Fintech companies with focus in payment service provider, financial data platform, financial software service provider, fintech cybersecurity web 3 etc. Her experience covers various roles, including C-level executive, sales & Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Engineer etc.

Originally from Hong Kong, Miranda enhanced her proficiency in Japanese during a four-year university experience, and further enriched her language skills through short-term studies in Japan. While at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, she explored Japanese literature and immersed herself in the local lifestyle, in the meantime achieved the top level (N1) of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Miranda’ s professional journey began in 2014 with a multinational recruitment firm, where she spent three years as a headhunter in the financial sector and four years in IT. In 2016, she joined JAC, a publicly listed company, broadening her focus to fintech and banking IT recruitment for major Japanese financial institutions, including top-tier investment banks and security firms. Since January 2021, she have dedicated most of her time to assisting Western tech groups in expanding into Japan, with many of them being startup companies entering the Japanese market and seeking bilingual talents.

Having lived and studied in California, she possesses a profound understanding of Western culture, leveraging this insight to effectively convey the allure and skills of Japanese talent to major multinational corporations. In pursuit of smoother communication with her clients, and hoping to support more job seekers, she undertook psychology courses and earned a certification as an NLP Practitioner in 2021.

Looking ahead, her passion lies in bridge more bilingual talents to top tier technology companies, contributing to the career journeys of more job seekers, and the growth of more tech companies;

Takashi Watanabe

Until completing graduate school, he worked as an actor for an entertainment agency. Having portrayed characters with different values in various works, including NHK BS dramas, he developed an interest in others' perspectives and ways of happiness.

Additionally, he worked part-time in civil engineering and harbor labor, experiencing situations where protective masks were not provided during building demolition preparation, leading to exposure to asbestos. This gave him a firsthand realization that companies do not always prioritize the protection of employees' physical and mental well-being.

Desiring to help people make their lifelong jobs a source of happiness, he retired from acting and began job hunting. Shortly after graduation, he became a career advisor under the theme of “considering the happiness of working individuals.” His counseling, focusing on articulating customers' values through dialogue and career advancement by leveraging existing strengths, received recognition, resulting in multiple awards from major job placement services.

Furthermore, he gained evaluation as an S-rank headhunter, equivalent to the top 1% of registered headhunters, from BizReach, a leading job placement service.Having been involved with numerous organizations and businesses as a career advisor, he found fulfillment as a consultant in supporting ambitious executives and business leaders aiming to balance business growth and employee happiness, leading him to transition to a major executive search firm.

Engaging with CEOs, executive officers, and business unit leaders, he identified the talent necessary for advancing business strategies and facilitated connections. Additionally, he contributed to the launch of a major SaaS company in collaboration with a foreign private equity fund.Similar to his approach to acting, he values gaining firsthand experiences over knowledge to truly understand customers.

After graduating from a machine learning programming school in 2019, he has been running a study group every week for four years. Since 2021, he has served as a business leader, dedicating himself to the launch of a new service at an HR Tech startup.
