US Tech Firm Successfully Recruits CTO Through Strategic Headhunting

A listed American tech group was hiring a regional CTO for their APAC expansion. Their goal? To harness the vast potential within the client network and cutting-edge technology emanating from Japan. Yet, they faced challenges – a limited talent pool, unresponsive candidates.

Together with C level executives in the US and HR team, we strategize, discussed, and meticulously carved a path forward. Target companies were shortlisted, potential candidates were mapped with precision. We headhunted every single potential candidate with a tailor-made approach, properly presented our client’s brand to them, and assisted our clients in attracting them.

We spoke to our client weekly to update on the headhunting progress and provide market information. Our client interviewed a shortlist of candidates; the 8-round interview process took about 3 months, and they offered a position to one of the candidates. The entire hiring process took about 6 months. It was not an easy journey, but our client emerged victorious, satisfied not just with the process but, more importantly, with the result – the successful hiring of a robust CTO.

This triumph wasn’t just a recruitment victory; it was a strategic conquest crucial to the company’s development in the APAC region.
